Arizona State University
Arizona State University offers an online master of science in legal studies (MLS) requiring 30 credits and can be completed in just 12 months. This online MLS focuses on an understanding of legal principles and how they are applied in practice in professional settings.
The MLS program is a customizable degree with eight possible focus areas:
- Conflict Resolution
- Construction Law
- Corporate and Health Care Compliance
- Criminal Law
- HR and Employment Law
- Intellectual Property Law
- Law and Sustainability
- Sports Law and Business
Each concentration is four courses in a particular subject. Students may choose more than one concentration, or simply a general law track. Some classes are conducted in a cohort model. This means that students progress on a trajectory in concert with fellow students. The program as a whole, however, is not a cohort model.
Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association.
