Eligibility and Admissions Requirements for Online MLS Programs

Each online Master of Legal Studies program has its own admissions requirements. However, all programs have 3 basic application requirements:

  • an application
  • a bachelor’s degree
  • an official transcript for undergraduate coursework

No schools require an LSAT. Most schools do not require a GRE. However, two schools offer the GRE as a supplement. Letters of recommendation, a writing sample, curriculum vitae or a resume, personal statement or an essay, or professional experience may be required for individual schools. If you are a non-native English speaker, a TOEFL Test will most likely be required as well.

Below, you will find a chart that outlines requirements for each specific online Master of Legal Studies program. You will find that the admission requirements vary from program to program. Additionally, you will see the minimum GPA required for each program.
